Creativity and Analytical Problem Solving

Dealing with obstacles and challenges is a regular part of working life, and overcoming them isn’t always easy.  To improve your products, services, communications and interpersonal skills, and for you and your organization to excel, you need to encourage creative thinking and find innovative solutions that work.

Creative and analytical problem solving is a way of solving problems or identifying opportunities when conventional thinking has failed.  It encourages you to find fresh perspectives and come up with innovative solutions, so that you can formulate a plan to overcome obstacles and reach your goals. 

Value-driven organisations are the most successful organisations on the planet. Understanding what people value is the key to creating high performing teams. When employees are supported in satisfying their needs, they respond with high levels of engagement and willingly commit their energies to the organisation, bringing passion and creativity to their work. Additionally, as values and culture are inextricably linked, a strong display of value-based professionalism by employees not only demonstrates a strong corporate brand proposition to the organization’s external stakeholder, it attracts and retains good talents.

In this course, participants will be guided to develop a business environment that reflects a positive set of values within a professional framework. Most importantly, these are aligned to the corporate values of SSM vis-à-vis the characteristics and standards of conduct that makes a business stands out.

To survive and thrive in a rapidly changing world, businesses need to keep up to stay on top.  With the current situation of COVID-19 disruption, many businesses are trying to keep afloat, some trying to survive.  Every area of business faces the challenge of keeping up with the breakneck speed of technological change but the recent COVID-19 disruption is unprecedented. 

This means that employees also need to adapt more than ever before and there is a critical need to SHIFT to adapt fast.  In this virtual workshop, participants will be exposed to situations outside their “comfort zones.” The workplace has evolved into an environment where employees are expected to change focus from one priority to another, much quicker than any time in the past.Being able to adapt to the changing priorities in the business is a soft skill that a team has to harness to become a higher performing team. ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Entrepreneurship provides progressive knowledge, which is necessary for managing and leading an Organisation like Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM).  It is critical to be at the forefront of innovation and introduce new products or services to customers, with few or no competitors.  With the new norm, it is now more demanding to push for improvement by leading disruption in your industry and forcing significant changes.

This workshop will prepare the participants to have the right mindset, business acumen and understand the traits of Entrepreneurs so that they can better manage and lead the Companies in Malaysia that register with SSM.  In addition, participants will think and act like entrepreneurs in their Organisation, will be the catalyst for new Entrepreneurship approach and outlook.

We live in a highly visual world where appearances matter. Powerful first impressions are made within 5 - 50 seconds of meeting someone - be it physically or virtually. Your appearance influences the esteem, prestige, authority and desirability assigned to your organisation, product or service. It influences the impact of your role at your workplace, and most importantly, if affects YOU and your own sense of confidence!

Employees and staff with high levels of personal presentation and professional etiquette are perceived as being valuable, especially so when they are also able to prove their worth at work. Employees who embraces the values, mission and vision (typically wrapped in a strong visual branding) of a company advances in their work quickly. Through this course, you will walk through your first exposure in making impact in your career through building powerful personal presence.
